Postmark Collectors Plan Fortieth Convention

From all over the U.S. and Canada, members of the Postmark Collectors Club (PMCC) plan to gather August 9 to 12 near Baltimore. From its first convention in Columbiana, Ohio in 1962 to the present, PMCC members have met in 25 different states and provinces. 2001 marks the 4th Maryland convention.

The 2001 PMCC national convention will be held at Comfort Inn-BWI in Linthicum, Maryland, just south of Baltimore, near BWI airport. It will feature:

The nonprofit Postmark Collectors Club is Affiliate #62 of APS. Founded in 1946, PMCC is dedicated to the study, collection, and preservation of postmarks, cancellations, postal history, and related items. The PMCC Museum and Library at Historic Lyme Village in Ohio is a modern research facility housing the largest collection of postmarks in the world. The club publishes the monthly PMCC Bulletin.
