For PMCC members, the turn of a calendar page hints at more fortuitous page-turning to come: a new month heralds the arrival of a new PMCC Bulletin! The award-winning Bulletin is published 11 times a year and has been arriving in PMCC members' mailboxes since 1947.
Each issue is chock-full of philatelic news, and there are often series that span multiple issues. Past series have included Postmarks 101: An Evolution of the Postmark and Beginner's Corner, and the Bulletin once features an entire issue dedicated to Railway Post Offices (RPOs). Content that generally appears every issue, or every other issue, include:
A whimsical cover featuring uniquely named towns
Unique postmarks submitted by other members
Special features, such as the multi-issue series noted above
Interesting photographs
Directory updates
Listings of recent post office openings and closings, including stations, branches, and CPUs
Stories from post offices past, and members' tales of visiting post offices present
PMCC Museum auctions and news, including donations and Work Week information
Membership and Convention information and updates
Advertising opportunities in the Bulletin are available!
